Recycling of waste paper is becoming increasingly important for pulp and paper industry. Pulp made from recycled paper can be used for producing good quality printing grades of paper, newsprint and duplex /triplex board for packaging by adopting proper deinking and cleaning technologies. Earlier the trend in our country was to utilize waste paper for producing inferior quality paper and boards. The present trend is towards manufacturing better quality writing and printing grades and newsprint.

Therefore, the following project aimed at improving the waste paper processing to suit the quality of waste paper available are of direct applicability to the paper mills for its better and effective utilization.

  1. Waste Paper / Secondary Fibre Processing for the Production of Paper, Board and Newsprint
