» Process Integration &
Optimization
Process integration is the most effective approach
for best utilization of thermal energy in process by integrating and
recovering the wasteful energy loss from process. This leads to higher
energy efficiency for the overall system. Integration approach has resulted
in significant energy reductions in mills in developed countries as a
result, today, these industries are most effective in open market.
CPPRI
has taken up initiative for adoption of process integration approach in
Indian Pulp and Paper Industry. Pinch Analysis has been identified as a
process integration tool for maximizing the process heat recovery and
minimize utility consumption.
CPPRI has expertise in pulping &
paper making process and combination of process knowledge with pinch
analysis can yield great result.
Studies have been conducted in few
selected mills and results are very promising.
