Creation of Base Office for Business Development

Over the last two decades, CPPRI has emerged as a global player in the field of R&D activities related to pulp, paper and allied industry. The technologies developed and the expertise acquired have an excellent potential clientage in the South East Asian Region. The growing stature of the Institute has furthered the presence of the Institute at various International and National Forums.

To further strengthen this trend, CPPRI has established an Industrial Coordination and Business Development Division at New Delhi to act as a single window interaction point to offer the services/expertise and transfer of technologies developed at CPPRI to the target business partners in the pulp, paper and allied industries. The activities of the ICBDD are multifaceted and are adaptive to the needs of the role set members - be it the government, the industry, machinery manufacturers or the traders/suppliers. The division maintains a close contact with the offices of international organization, corporate offices of leading players in pulp and paper industry besides technical support to parent Ministry and other government agencies etc., addressing the problems of the pulp, paper and the allied sector.
