Recycled Fiber (RCF) Processing Section

In this area the Institute offers complete know-how for Recycled Fibre Processing for its effective utilization as paper making fibre. The section is well equipped with state-of-art facilities to conduct R&D activities and render consultancy and technical services for increased utilization of recycled fibres.

Achievements

Under the project study on "Availability & Utilization of Waste Paper" sponsored by IPMA, CPPRI has proposed an indigenous gradation system. The proposed gradation system covers twenty (20) varieties of indigenously recovered paper grades, which have been classified into nine (IX) groups based on their fiber quality, and fiber furnish. - For details contact CPPRI
